The A10 ring road is accessible via various exit roads, but traffic in the centre itself can be slow.

By public transport, you have plenty of options to choose from. Amsterdam Central Station is the main hub, from which trains depart to all of the Netherlands and beyond. The North/South line (metro 52) connects the centre with North and South, while the East line (metro 51, 53, 54) provides fast connections to East and Southeast. Tram lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 24 and 26 crisscross the centre and provide connections to all districts.
